went to a smog shop, they diagnosed my check engine soon light.. the code was reading PO402, EGR Flow excessive. ALL OF THESE WERE OK: EGR Vacuum sys, EGR Valve, EGR temp sensor and EGR vacuum solenoid. He replaced the vacuum MODULATOR/ TRANSDUCER because this was working without backpressure (meaning that the EGR Valve was working too much)...
After 2 days, the check engine soon light appeared again! What is the wrong? And there is anything wrong when driving!
Do you feel the difference with a 5-12hp increase in your car?
Is this electrical problem? or what? gonna go back to the same shop.

Had that problem on a ranger I worked on it was the EVP sensor.
This must b a Cali car. just a guess but sounds like a vaccum leak maybe a pinhole in one of the lines. That will change pressure
