Would it be really expensive to get an old car that runs, but needs to be restored?
The marks are left by road grime - Windex *might* get them off if they are light. I have had success using 'Soft Scrub' liquid cleaner and a sponge, and *lots* of water. The mild abrasive in the product will cut through the road scum fairly well and leave the glass pretty clean. You don't need to scrub excessively hard, just light to moderate pressure will do.Glass polishing compound or jewelers rouge...doing it by hand is labor intensive, but it can be done. A power buffing wheel on a drill or buffer would help...
How do you know when a brake rotor is bad? How do you know when they need to be turned?
Also, some if not all glass places can do it for you for a modest price...call around til you find one that will...
Use Windex and Newspaper (paper). Don't use that slick paper they sometimes put in there. If you don't have Windex you can use a little bleach and niegar with water that will help too damp your 100% cotton rag and it will take it off. Make sure you wash the vehicle too if you hadn't done yet. Do the same for inside and out. (don't wash the inside He He he)
