I have a 1971 chevy c-10 with a 350 4-barrel. The carb is needing replaced so my question is, can i (with little complication) put a junk yard throttle body or fuel injection on it. i do realize it will be some what difficult but i am willing to try. i dont think the fuel injection will work because of the computer and the O2 censor any one have a clue?

If none of the above questions are a concern, then yes, it can be done, and pretty effectively.
You can buy aftermarket kits with all the necessary parts, sensors, wiring harness etc. and it makes a nice installation.
If you know a good wrecking yard, that will allow you to remove the system from another old vehicle, including the wiring harness, PCM, distributor, EST unit, all the sensors including the coolant sensor, knock sensor and MAP sensor, the only thing you would have to do after that is ask a muffler shop to install a bung for the oxygen sensor.
Then get a wiring diagram for the vehicle you took the system out of and go to work.

In my opinion, this is a much more difficult task that what you might think. I would leave the 4 BBL carb in place. If the carb needs replacing there are many carbs out there for a chevy 350.
