Would performance rotors work with standard brakes?

Question:
im lookin into performance rotors cause i just bought some 18s...would they even make a difference if i bought the rotors and just bought new standard brakes or do i have to replace both with performance instead?

it doesnt matter what rotor you use with the brakes as long as you get the right size for your car, any combination of pads/rotors/shoes will perform just fine. they do however make different grades of brake pads. good better best. good ones are cheapest and last 1-3 years. and so on
it all depends on your budget and driving style. I usually go with the cheap ones and they seem to perform just as good
