Wow! what a concidence I had the same problem today I have 04 Grand Am my car wouldn't start. Everything came on it wouldn't say anything. I had a friend to look at it he tap on the starter to see if it would start but, it didn't. Then he tap on the gas tank for some odd reason it started. So I took it too a mechanic it showed nothing but maybe possible corrission on the battery connectors. So far its still starting so try cleaning the battery connectors. So I hope that its not the fuel pump. My Grand Am is a 6 cycl
