How do I get the alternator out of a 1988 Mercury Tracer?
its your engine management light, its telling you that there is a fault with one of your engine sensors, your best bet is to take it to a reportable independent garage and get a diagnostic done, this will tell you which of the sensors is at fault. Look to pay around £30 at an independent garage or around £70 at the dealer, the cost of replacing the faulty item will be additional.Should be in your instruction manual so i'd take a look there!
this sounds like your engine management light, this needs to be checked by a diagnostic machine, contact your nearest vauxhall dealer
check in your owners manual under warning lights
