When i was biking i used to use ignition sealant.Halfords/Motorsave/Cha... Browns anywhere like that sell it,about £2.50 a spray can.I then sprayed everything i.e. plug caps,ht leads,battery terminals,coil etc.When dry after about 30mins it forms a clear plastic film over where you have sprayed.My bike (Honda cx500)would then run in anything typhoons,blizzards,earthquakes... storms etc.You name it,that bike would plough through it.Hope this helps.

the simplest a arguably the best solution is to spray WD-40 all over any and all electrical components regularly , it cheap but very effective , also make sure your air filter is not to exposed as it is common for people to upgrade to K&N or similar which protude further than the original and so get wet thus sucking water into the carb when the bike is started .
