wen i start my car these 2 lights come on and stay on til i accelerate. then at various speeds they come bak on. no pattern. occasionally the battery will die and ive had it recharged but it still happens. hellppppppp!

Toyota's are known to light up the battery and brake warning light when the alternator is not charging. Because it goes out at higher rpm's, I suspect that your alternator belt is extremely loose or badly worn. If this is the case, your battery would die after extended night driving and especially driving in wet road conditions. Have your belt checked. i own a shop and the brake light being on could just be a stuck e-brake switch on it,the battery light could be a loose cable or a bad ground wire on it,have a good mechanic check it out,for you its probably a simple fix but if you mess with it and don't know what your doing you can mess it up and it may cost more to repair it,also there's no free down loads on the Internet anymore of repair manuals that's why advance auto parts sells the Haynes manuals for those cars,and if they don't have it they can order you one in one day,good luck i hope this helps.More Questions & Answers ...
