you dont say why it started stalling ?? was it after a flat battery or a battery change or did it start stalling for no apparent reason at all . either way sounds like what we call a memory block ! adjusting the base idle screw will affect your TPS readings and thus your gear changes. you need to go through a relearn procedure. your local service centre will be able to help you .
