Pug 206 Headlights?

Question:
I have a pair of phase1 headlights and want to fit some led rings into them, but im having trouble getting the clear glass/plastic off to get into the lights,

Tell me if this is a good deal?

i have tryed to heat up the glue using a hair dryer but still no luck.

There are some fibers coming out of my exhaust (looks like hair extensions!) I think it might be by backbox...

any 1 got any other idea?

This is a big assumption- you're trying to split the headlamp housing.
IF so, this is a 2 part methacrylate that is nearly impossible to remove without cutting apart with a saw. the really aggressive solvents like Dynalloy will really screw with the polycarb lens/housing. housings have had 1000s of man-hours into them for the development of an adhesive that will not let go. it is a big-time business glueing these together (well).

similar glues are used to glue hulls and top decks (boats) together. you don't see many of those falling apart. ITW plexus- industry standard.
