Sure its hard. But you have to learn how to do it properly. I have been driving a stick for awhile now and I can say that, in the beginning it just isn't easy.1996 Dodge Dakota Check Engine?
You have to resign yourself to being pretty terrible at the start, like all things, it takes practice and then, you an expert at it. It took me about a month after learning to never stall out ever again. My car is a hard car to learn on, it has what's called a twin-plate clutch, which means it is very difficult to operate just right, but I learned and now I can do it just as easily as anyone. It just takes time.
Now the benefits of driving a manual are just so immense, but the benefits of driving an automatic are few, but the ease almost outweighs the benefits. With the stick, I get better mileage, better performance and at times, is just more fun. But just throw heavy traffic in there and a stick becomes a huge pain. I really like driving my manual and I'm still honestly learning how to do everything just perfectly.
Driving a manual makes you a better driver, you're more focused, you have more control of the car and it impresses girls and guys. As a guy, I can tell you a girl that cares enough to drive a manual is pretty attractive.
Yeah its hard, but so is life, you learn and you're an expert. It requires patience, but you will learn, I did and so did every driver before me. Its a life-skill
