1998 Dodge Caravan ..service engine light?
Usually this happens after driving around, doing about 50 or so for a few.
Engine admits white/light blue smoke, and lots of it too, whats happening, help?
First thing I thought is the car may be overheating. However, the temp gauge in my dash reads normal. I suppose the possibility exists that the gauge is faulty, but I don't think so because when the car warms up it seems fine.
How can I make my 1984 mercury grandmarquis faster?
I know the serpentine belt needs to be changed but the smoke doesn't appear to come from there when I open up the hood. It almost seems like it's coming from the bottom of the car, but I can't really tell from where. I was once told since it's an older, high-mileage (175k) car that it just does that. Something about the oil burning.
How do I fix truck's turn signal lights?
Been to the mechanic recently for an oil change. When you get it, they do a comp check of your car. I wasn't told anything was wrong.
How much it cost to install the turbo on the car?

My airbag and doors open lights keep coming on while I am driving or when I am parked?
Check your valve cover for a gasket leak. Oil is probably leaking down onto the exhaust manifold and causing the smoke. Or, oil is dripping onto the exhaust pipe. Both of these problems will produce smoke.I have the same problem, the hose from my power steering was leaking when I turned the wheel sharply sometimes. Check your power steering fluid. That could be it, or not.
Adding in heated seat in vehicle?
I would say to take the car back to the mechanic and tell them what's happening. That way they do a better test on your car and actually look... They'll probably tell you exactly what's wrong.I hit my car on a gate and.......?
sounds like to me like you got an oil leak. on the head gasket or it is burning oil.weird things that happen while driving?
could be excess oil on your exhaust manifold, either from the oil change or valve cover gasket seeping. take a flashlight and check for wet/ oily spots below the covers if you can see them. fairly easy fix for a good mechanic. How much does it cost to change radiator and head gasket ?
It depends on weather it is oil smoke or steam. If it is oil smoke and it is coming from under the car it could be a valve cover gasket letting oil drip down the side of the engine onto the exhaust manifold or lead off pipe. It could also be the power steering leaking or if it's an automatic it could be a transmission line leak. If the smoke is black looking it is oil. If it blueish looking, it's transmission and if its white in color and dissipates very quickly it's steam. If it's steam, you could have a radiator, heater, or heater by-pass hose leaking. It may not be leaking enough to make it overheat, but leaking just the same.More Questions & Answers ...
