Question:
Could you give me some useful advice to pass NOx2 Emissions?!
Answers:
How much does an 02 sensor replace cost on an honda accord 96?
High NOx2 is caused by too much fuel passing through the exhaust system. You are not only creating too much emission but you are also wasting valuable, expensive gas. Your engine computer (ECM) might be telling your fuel system to give the engine too much gas. It might be the sensors associated with the fuel system, the fuel pressure regulator, injectors, etc. It might also be a problem with your o2 sensor(s). The o2 sensors detect the amount of oxygen in the exhaust. If the o2 sensors tells the computer that there is too much oxygen going through then the computer will try to compensate by giving the engine more fuel. So the o2 sensors might be bad. They are pretty cheap so I would replace them even if they are not the problem, that is if you haven't replaced them recently. You might have a vacuum that lets air into the intake when its not supposed to. That often causes a high idle or too much fuel delivery. I would check all your vacuum lines to make sure there are no leaks. Also check your gaskets where air could go in also. What's wrong with my 1999 ford F150?
Basically you need to get the fuel system to stop giving the engine too much fuel. Once you do that then you will be able to pass.
What is a fair price to paint.?
i own a repair shop, and you have to make sure your car is tuned up as good as it can be and that the catalytic converter is working right, and if you have check engine light on ,find out whats causing it,and turn it off,if any car is running right it should pass the test, but make sure the air filter is new on it,one dirty air filter will cause one not to pass the test, that's pretty much it though,if its running good,it should pass it with no problems, good luck with it i hope this helps.Excessive NOx emissions is caused by too high of a combustion temperature. Timing too advanced, EGR not working, or a bad catalytic converter could all cause NOx to be too high.
Saxo 1.4i-green gunk in radiator tank?
i do emissions testing in mass try going to jiffy lube and getting a fuel injection cleaning, then drive for a couple days before getting the testMore Questions & Answers ...
