go to an auto store, there is some real good adhesive in a tube, don't remember what it's called, but had the same thing happen, and used this stuff and it worked great. make sure that you give it time to set up before you refill your overflow container.

The vacuum forms when the radiator cools down and sucks the coolant back into the radiator from the overflow bottle. Clean and roughen the surface to be patched well before kneading the two epoxy ribbons together and applying the putty like repair patch.

I believe if you go to a place like Auto Zone or Pep Boys there is an epoxy you can get for it.If you use glue or tape and it gets to cold or hot the glue and tape will fail you. Also you can go to a junk yard and just get a the part for a few bucks and replace it. Hope you have good luck
