Question:
New rad, new stat. Flushed heater core. Engine and hose temps are normal. Mode switch and fan are functional. Temperature actuator is audible. Could it be the heat blend door? If so...where is it? I'm freezing in WI.
Answers:
you should consult a mechanic
What is a "drive belt" and what is its function ?
Ok stupid question here....is the water low? If the water is low...the heater wont work rightIt is 4 degrees outside, will there be any problems if I were to wash my car?
you should have another thing that looks like a radiator underneath your glovebox or somewhere nearby - that's where the hot water from the radiator runs through and the fan blows the heat thru the car. Chances are that is bad or the fan is seized. Another possibility is a plastic bag stuck in your intake for the fan. There are so many possibilities, but that's where I would start. How do you change a car battery?
I've never heard of that term.....Theres probably something that was not done correctly in your run down.
I've heard of some cars having a actuator to close the heater core inlet so hot coolant doesnt flow through it say on a hot summer day. but you would have to get the repair manuel for that info.......
Older cars it was called an heater control valve.....
What is done with a 30K tune up?
i own a repair shop, and the heat door your talking about is located inside of the heater box,,,but on most vehicles you can gain access to the actuator that works it from under neath of the dash area,,at least you could test it to see if that's whats causing this,,but you may wind up taking it to a good repair shop,,they have the necessary tools to repair it with,,good luck, hope this help,s.my toliet keeps running, how do I stop it?
check the heater doors, they could be closed.More Questions & Answers ...
