Question:
The fog lights in my 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser started coming on by themselves a few months ago. Now they won't go off - at all - even when the car is turned off and the key isn't in the ignition. I found this out the hard way when I came out to a dead battery. I've disconnected the lights themselves, but the dash indicator stays on 24/7, again even when the car's off and the key's out. There is supposed to be a fuse you can pull that disconnects power to the fog lights completely. It's fuse #8 on a 2001 Cruiser, but I haven't been able to find out which fuse it is for the 2002 model. And I am completely car-illiterate to boot - filling the windshield washer tank and checking the oil are about as much as I do! Can someone tell me which fuse controls power to the fog lights on a 2002 Cruiser so my more mechanically-inclined friends can pull it for me?
Why,car temputuer gage goes from normal to hot then back to normal?
Thanks!

You will find two wires going to the lights. Use some diagonal cutters and cut one. Then cap it with a wire nut. You will not have your fog lights any more but your battery won`t get run down.

This sounds like a bad relay. That's what it will probably need to fix it.What happens if I put a little diesel in my car mixed with regular gas?
Pull out your fuses one by one until the light goes off. Then you'll know that's the one. But the fuse might operate something else too.
