Can anyone tell me if i can fit a second hand distributer to a rover 623 honda engine?

You do not need to programme it to your car you need to check other things before fitting another distributor.Have you got HT spark?The thing that normally goes if its the dist is the ignition module inside the dist this can be obtained as a separate part. Mick UK.

The year of your car, is it an electonic ignition distributor (no points to adjust) or a distributor with points.
Is your second hand distributor for the same size (displacement of litres) engine?
