Sti.. should i buy a dual blits or greddy?

Question:
So heres the skinny.. i have a sti.. it already has a greddy boost gauge.. and as a surprise for my hubby, it needs a turbo timer.. but im thinking of getting the dual blitz, so instead of two gauges i have one.. i have heard about by passing the alarm with the blitz... but isnt this true with all and can easily be fixed when you have a new alarm installed? which we will be doing also.. anyhow, so i just need to know if i should just get a greddy turbo timer and add it.. or get rid of the greedu boost gauge and put in a blitz that does both.. but since blitz is the only dual boost gauge and timer in one on the market.. has anyone had trouble with them?? or have a preference? thanx,
thanx.. and kuddos to all other scooby owners!!
