Will resurfacing rotors get rid of high speed vibration when braking or do i just need to get them replaced?

How many years/miles should a car battery last for?

Resurfacing the rotors is the cheaper way to go but you never said what vehicle you had or what year.A lot of manufacturers nowadays put rotors on a vehicle that CANNOT be turned or resurfaced! This is because they make them too thin from the factory making you buy a new set which is the safer way to go.I have never ever had a problem with a vehicle after resurfacing an old rotor as long as you keep it within runout limits. Most people are gonna tell you that after having a rotor turned/resurfaced they become weaker and subject to warp easier. This may be true but in all the years of my wrenching,i have NEVER had a rotor go bad just because it became weak unless you plan on running in Nascar or something.Make sure you replace the pads regardless how much life are left in them after having the rotors turned.depending on your vehicle, you may have to take the bearings out of the rotor and regrease them and replace the seal. The seal will need replaced anyway if your gonna have them resurfaced(on some vehicles)..Its up to you-if you want to save a little bit of money and your vehicles rotors are able to be turned,go that way.I am willing to bet that you will not have a problem with a turned rotor!!
--update-- getting them resurfaced will most likely get rid of your vibrations and your brake pedal pulsations if you have it.I just had a vehicle that had a set of rotors that were so warped that the whole vehicle would bounce up and down in the front every time your pressed the brake pedal.I only had those rotors resurfaced and the bouncing went away and the smooth braking returned.

Does a pick-up coil part of a distributor?

I would always advocate REPLACING as opposed to resurfacing, due to the fact that resurfacing is removing mass from the rotor itself, which makes it heat up quicker. Replacing is also a far more long term repair. Definitely replace the brake pads as well, if you are going to do this.

Can Dry Ice be used to fix car dents?

yes, if the rotors are in specification to be turned. Every car has a specification for rotors.

Where could I find pictures and instructions on how to remove and replace a radiator in a 97 staurn?

Yes, resurfacing the rotors will get rid of the vibration IF they are warped. You should feel a pulsing at lower speeds if they are. Sometimes it is cheaper to replace rotors than go to all the hassle of removing the old ones and having your car sit while they are resurfaced.

Is there a good website that sells engine conversion kits?

Yes, it will solve the problem, however the roters may warp more easily if you overheat them again. I'd try it once, then if it re-occours replace them.

Who has a K&N FIPK intake on their 1998 or newer Crown Victoria or Grand Marquis?...?

getting them turned if they have enough surface left will definately get rid of your vibration but you should also put new pads on it also when you do this as the old pads are wore funny and won't make full contact with the resurfaced rotors.
