yes have your trans flushed out and have a new filter put on
will will make your trans have a longer life and beter shifting on gears i had my 1990 Dodge Omni trans flushed out and a new filter put on and it shifts alot beter then it use to every 55,000 miles is should be changed with a new filter it will run you about 100 or 150 $ to have a shop do it but it's worth the $$

How do I fix a rusty leaky spot on the roof of my car?

hope this helps good luck

Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS)?

Yes, but you should have done that about half that mileage ago. Every 55,000 miles will give you the longest life from your transmission. Also change the engine oil every 3,000 miles for maximum life from it also.

HELP Mechanics---- IAC (Idle Air Control) Valve ?

Is it a automatic or 5 speed? It should be changed either way, but if its a 5 speed you need to be careful. If its a 5 speed you need to check your owners manual and find out what gear oil it calls for. The wrong gear oil will destroy the synchronizers. Don't just assume that the shop will know.
