Question:
The squeak occurs any time there is any tilting or torque to the frame, i.e. cornering, bumps, etc.
Answers:
Where can I find a 12 hp crankshaft for a briggs and stratton motor.?
Sounds like the control arm bushings are dried out.....try spraying them down thouroughly with wd-40 and bounce car up and down to test effectiveness. The control arms look like an "A", with the spindle at one end and the other two attached to the frame....the bushings are on the frame side and are rubber. If no luck..try spraying all components one at time till source of noise is found. Wd-40 is not a repair..just a tool to find noise..component will still need replacement! How often do i do Car Maintance?
..i am no mechanic...but maybe you need power steering fluid?...What could POSSIBLY have happened with my car? Due to the oil cap not being properly placed on?
Does the squeak noise occur when you turn your steering wheel? If so, it sounds like your lower ball joints need to be replaced (Ford Part Number F8AZ-3050-AA approx. $50.00 for two lower ball joints). If it's a "crunching" sound, when the steering wheel is truned to full lock in either direction, while going over a bump, you need your steering stops on the lower control arms lubricated with grease.Check lower ball joints as they have no grease fitting and they dry out.
