It will not affect the camber. I does affect the toe in/out. You are toed in too much. You need to get an alignment. No you can not do this yourself. You probably need new tires too.

camber is the position of the tire in reference to being forward or rear the toe is the angle which the tire is tracking a straight line. replacing tie rod ends has nothing to do with camber. You will need to have the toe adjusted by a n alignment shop such as sears or pep boys the cost approx 50 to 100 dollars depending on your area labor rates

Did you have a proper alignment done after you replaced the tie rods? If you didn't I can guarantee you toe angles are way off. Even the most precise "eyeballing" is not likely to get the toe within 1 full degree of where is should be. On most cars the allowable range is just a few hundredths of a degree. Toe is what causes edge wear, not camber.

Listen to the sheik, the toe is definitley toed in too much, and because of that the camber is also changed, get it aligned. BUT, when the toe is brought back to where it should be, the camber corrects itself, all other things equal.

servise question?

It only effects the toe in on the vehicle, but it sounds like you don't have it screwed in far enough, take it to an alignment shop and have the car lined up and they will set the toe in right.
