I have a 97 Ford Explorer AWD V-8 5.0 L , that has to have the radiator replaced. Any Pointers?

Question:
From what I can see its obvious that the tranny lines run through the radiator, but it looks like a AC line also goes through the radiator as well. Do I need to drain my AC unit and does the Fan need to be removed? Or is there away around it? Is the tranny cooler in front of the radiator removed with the radiator or left behind....If this makes any since to you thats great, because its starting to confuse me. Any help is more then welcome. Thanks

how much would it cost for a reconditioned engine for a fiesta car 1.1?

The tranny lines go into the radiator. They have to be removed. The AC lines go to the little radiator in front of the engine radiator. You can usually work around those without having to disconnect them. You do have to remove the fan and the shroud to get the radiator out.
If you do have to disconnect the ac lines to do the job, try to plug both ends quick and not get any air in them. Then you can just top off the 134 instead of having to redo the whole shebang.
And when you replace the bottom hose, don't forget to get the spring out of the old one and put it in the new one. That thing keeps the pump suction from collapsing the hose.

Vehicle inspection items for importing a car from Germany.?

AC line should not go thru it. As for me I always buy a larger trans cooler and mount it and do away with radiator cooling. A cold tranny will last. I don't want mine hot from the radiator coolant. I hate plastic radiators so I always check and see if a older model metal one will work, with a little jerry rigging.

my wife put the battery cabble wrong on her car, now wont start, is the car toast or is way to fix it?

DO NOT disconnect any a / c lines. they are under high pressure at all times. If you disconnect them you will need your a / c system evacuated and recharged. costs $$ Why replacing radiator ?? radiator shop can probably repair much cheaper. Some radiators remove from the bottom, better check with dealer or radiator shop. The condensor for the a /c is in front of your radiator and should be separately mounted. I have a dodge p.u. and radiator comes out without removing fan. slides right straight up.
