Problem with Renault Scenic Megane?
could be either one of the two suggested. does the car run and shift fine-then its probably a vent hose. if car doesnt run and or shift properly then it probably needs to be hooked up to something. also if its just laying there and can move around alot it probably goes to something and if its tied or mounted to the fender well or something it probably just sits there. good luck.Areas besides the inside of the hood were I can find color code for 1997 Camry?
it attatches to the throttle body then to vacuum control modulator in transmission// you may have to t into one of the main vacuum lines on the intake manifold//goodluckWithout seeing the hose myself i can not tell for sure, but what your describign sounds like a vent hose, and shouldn't be pluged into anything, its there to allow the gasses and pressure in the transmission to escape.
What is your experience with Maaco?
I agree with the first answer. Sounds like the vacuum modulator line. Your transmission will not shift smoothly without it. Should be connected to an intake (carburetor or throttle body) vacuum source.'02 impala low-coolant light on but engine not hot?
The hose in question sounds like it is the transmission vent tube and it is not connected to anything on purpose.More Questions & Answers ...
