How do you replace a window in the rear door of a 94 Saturn SL-1?

Question:
We got the outer shell of the door off, but there doesn't seem to be enough room between the welded frame of the door to get the window into the track (going in from the bottom). It does not appear that it will fit into the frame if we go in from the top

to replace the window you need to buy a door trim tool remove screws for door handle and lock take the tool pop off the inside door cover lift cover straight up and out// under that ire 3 pop rivete that hold the electric window roller in// this has to be removed to get to the slides and glass then with care and a pair of gloves slide window slide and motor upward // then with slide halfway up reach your hand under and inside the door take the nut off slide then pull slide rest of way out // lots of work better to call mechanic
