Question:
This is a turbo-charged engine. When problems started the radiator hose separated from the top connection of the radiator. Reinstalled hose. After adding pre-mix, started the engine without the cap on to circulate and remove air pockets. Antifreeze was blowing out of the radiator fill hole, so turned off the engine, refilled with premix, installed the cap, and drove 20 miles before overheating again. After cooling down, took off again, got hot in a few miles, and then engine quit runing. Think the radiator was dry by then. Had to be towed. Mechanic at Tire Kingdom said there was spark, fuel pressure, and cranked well, but engine still wont start. He also said there is oil in the intake and possibly oil residue in the radiator. What do you think the problem is, and who is the best in Charlotte for engine repair if this is a head gasket, ring, or valve problem?
