Start Error Mercedes A140?

Hello there,
I have a Mercedes A Class 140 car (A140). I have changed the battery cuze the old one wasnt working so well no more. Now i cant start the car cuze some thing blocks the engine same time i start it and engine turns off, I see a Error msg on my display screen that sayas "Start Error" . Can anybody tell me why is that happingning and what to do... Thx

Sounds like a security issue. You will need to reset the computer after changing the battery, I would guess.
