Engine swaps in GM G bodies are not that bad.

About 3 weeks ago I had my front brakes done at NBT. 2 weeks ago back brakes done at Midas. Now they squeak?

Couple of things to keep in mind:
You will most likely need a transmission to go with the swap, the Chevrolet bellhousing is different than Buick (Buick, Olds, Pontiac & Cadillac all have a common bellhousing, but Chevrolet is different) unless you have a trans with a BOPC universal casting. However you most likely have a TH-200 which would probably not hold up long behind a V8...you'll want to look into getting a TH-350C (lockup) or a 700R4 if you want overdrive. You will also have to look into an aftermarket setup to activate the lockup converters on these transmission unless your Regal already has a lockup tranny. Changing to overdrive will make it difficult to get the shifter into first gear, but will operate normally otherwise. Depending on what transmission you wind up with, you may also need to have your driveshaft length changed.

You will need to change the front suspension springs, V6 springs are different than V8 springs

A question for the mechanic?

You will need to get all the brackets and accessories for the Chevy motor. With the exception of the A/C compressor and the alternator, they are all different. Buick brackets will not bolt to a Chevrolet engine.

You may need to get a larger radiator, but I would not bother with that until I had the swap done and see if cooling is going to be an issue.

The good news is Chevrolet 350's are a dime a dozen and you should be able to find everything you need for the swap at a salvage yard, including a modern serpentine belt setup for the Chevy 350.
