How do I fix a moped carburetor?

Question:
I think the moped works fine, it's just that the vacuum on the carburetor wont work, so the gas can't come out. How do I fix it?

Answers:

Could someone help me work out what would be the best route to take regarding a car accident please?

The only vacuum on this carb is from the "intake" from the head. The compression from the motor is what sucks the gas out of your carb.If your fuel switch is on and you are sure that there is fuel reaching the carb, then most likely your float is stuck.the float isnt letting the fuel get inside the bowl of the carb itself.Hence if there is no fuel in the carb, nothing is gonna get sucked out of it.First check and make sure there is fuel coming out of your gas tank.Does your shut off valve have a "reserve" on it??Turn it to reserve and see if fuel comes out of the tank.If it reaching the carb and you still arent getting fuel, its the float in the carb that is stuck. You need to have your carb taken apart and cleaned out.Very common on mopeds.

Buy a rebuild kit and replace EVERY part in the kit. If you are new to this, place EVERY little part in a row and put them back in the proper sequence. It will run fine. Don't forget the gasket before you set the carb on the block.
