Wheel Stops on Nissan Frontier 2002?

Question:
I have a 2002 Nissan Frontier. I have noticed when i crank the wheel to a hard left or right, for example turning into my driveway, the truck makes a loud creek or clunky noise. I was at a Nissan dealership and was told the wheel stops needed to be greased. Now ive done that but i noticed when i crank the tire and the wheel stops rub it just rubs the grease right off. Does anyone know if you need to replace these, perhaps thats why im having troubles...or should i keep greasing?? Any input would be great!

How do I remove the trim rings from my wheels?

Thanks

Carburetor?

Your brakes may be sticking on it. Pull the tire off and check them. I had the same problem with my car.
