Why would headlamps go out twice in 2 months?

i own a shop and you have to bring the engine to operating temperature,the disconnect the est wire,and make sure you have marked the right marks on the pulley and the timing pointer,and use a timing light to check it with ,it should read close to the mark ,if not loosen the distributor ,and move it until the marks line up on it,the est wire should be right at the top of the carpet on the passengers side pull back the carpet and look for a brownish colored wire,and unplug it,this will almost make the truck die ,but it shouldn't,then all you do is set it tighten the distributor down and hook the wire back up and that should be it,good luck with it,i hope this helps.I have a camry 2005. I used Mobil 1 10w30 but in the Mobil site they said my car require 5w30.?
if it doesnt have a distributer,then probably the computer times it.Just loosen the bolt holding the distributor and rev the engine to 2000rpm and hold it there. You can rotate the distributor clockwise and counter clockwise to either advance or retard the timing.
