1990 s-10 blazer fuel problem?

have a 1990 chevy s-10 blazer 4x4 with a 4.3 v6 it has a carb with 2 injectors and its not getting any gas give me some ideas what i need to be looking at thanks

Sounds like you may have the throttle body injection type carburetor. Anyways I would first try to start off cheap and make sure the connections are ok at the injectors. The next thing I would do is to check the fuel filter and change it since you are looking at it in case it is clogged, which is doubtful but it is usually only $5-$10 for a replacement. In the case of replacing the filter make sure you disconnect your battery cables so that your electronic fuel pump doesn't spew fuel all over when you disconnect the fuel lines at the fuel filter. The only other thing I had done to one of my old beaters when I was trying to figure out if the injectors were being supplied with fuel was to disconnect the fuel rail somewhere near the injectors and make sure the fuel is at least being pumped through that line, this is messy and can be dangerous so no smoking since fuel will be spilled, have some rags ready, all you need to see is a short squirt. The real way to make sure your injectors are getting fuel is to put a fuel pressure gauge in-line with your fuel supply system the reading on the gauge will tell you if the pressure is adequate. A decent auto parts store will be able to tell you how to do it since they are more likely to have someone experienced and I am no pro.

But based on what you are saying that there is no fuel coming out it may be either of two things your injectors went bad or your fuel pump quit working. If your fuel pump is located inside the gas tank then it will be costly to have it replaced by a shop unless you can replace it yourself. The first thing I would check is the fuel pump emergency cut-off switch. This cuts off the fuel pump in case you are in a wreck. You can find it in the owners manual. If not this, check all your fuses. Either you are not getting power to your fuel pump or it is bad.

That's not a carb, it's a throttle body fuel injection system. How do you know it's not getting fuel? You probably won't be able to see it spray from the injectors unless the engine is actually running.
From experience with the same model, stick your head next to the fuel tank, out back, and have someone turn the key on and off, you should be able to hear the fuel pump (it's inside the tank) cycle on and off. If not, check the fuse under the dash. If you don't hear it with a new fuse, or you do hear it and still won't start, off to the mechanic you go.
Dumb question, do you KNOW there is gas in the tank? Experience speaking...
