It could be allot of different things! Catalytic converter, a hose if off, the fuel pump, the fuel injectors, anything that has to do with the car could be wrong! You'll need to get it checked out ASAP because letting it go could result in other problems!!

If your "CHECK ENGINE" light comes back on, you may have a problem, otherwise it was probably just a glich or computer hiccup that caused it to come on. If it doesn't come back on, forget about it.
