Canadian Tire Auto department ripping me off?

Question:
I got my fuel pump replaced with a new one at Canadian Tire and now my car won't start.
It wants to start but won't and the fule pump fuse is burnt out and I replaced the fuse and the car will start for a minute and then stop.
Yesterday my car was towed back to Canadian Tire with my warranty and they are giving me the run around.
how can i find out this stores history bad or good ?

Answers:

Plz help me in this...?

have i got a story for you. i took my 2000 camaro to CRAPPY tire last summer for an oil change and overall check before going out of town. i came back to pick it up and they tell me that my e-brake cable was broken. WHAT THE F***! they tell me it will cost $280 parts and labor. they show me the cable they had tied it up out of the way under the car. first i never use my e-brake, cars an automatic. second i would have noticed a 3 foot piece of brake cable hanging under my car. my point is that they have crappy mechanics and they probably get a commission for extra work done on a car. hence the name crappy tire. anyway i fixed my car at a local mech. shop and never went back to them again, all i got from them was some bs about how it could just break and they weren't willing to help other than to fix it.
try to phone the BBB ( better business bureau).
good luck, you're gonna need it.

How can you tell if a mechanic is ripping you off?

Explain "run around". If the fuel pump that they installed is okay, and there is another problem, then you are responsible for the cost of repairs. If the fuel pump that they installed (or the installation) is faulty, then they are responsible. Don't pull an attitude with the service writer, and you will get along alot better, and alot faster. Remember, too, that everyone makes mistakes. Good luck.
