The seat belt looks perfectly normal, doesn't appear to be doubled over etc. It has been partially pulled out and is completely stuck, no 'give' at all. It's an old style 3-door T reg hatch. Any ideas on how to free it?

ALL YOU CAN DO IS TAKE OFF THE PANELLING AROUND THE BELT CASING AND MAKE SURE THAT THE BELT IS NOT TWISTED UNDER PANEL THEN REMOVE REEL FROM BODY AND YOU CAN THEN PULL BELT AND TURN UNIT TO DIFFERENT ANGLES OTHER THAN THAT ITS DOWN TO THE SCRAPPERS.GOOD LUCK.wheres that lo-jack system in that BMW? ?? hahahaah?
