2000 hyundai elantra wagon failed inspection for OBD?
But for some reason, I don't believe him. It seems like he's just saying that so he doesn't have to be with me for awhile.
So how long does it normally take to fix a timing belt?
(his truck is a '93 s10)

The Chevy S10 does not have a timing belt. GM uses a metal chain which requires no maintenance, never has to be replaced and quite frankly, never break.Time for a new boyfriend.

A clicking noise in 95' eclipse. Only happens here and there?
15 minutes, if you know at all what you are doing, all you gotta do is go buy one, and loosen the tensioner, and put it on, and then time it, with a timing light, to friggen easy, he is blowing smoke up yer behind..lolMy Nissan's A/C vent isn't working! Why?
well at the shop a week or so unless they are booked. I doubt that the shop is booked for a month or two. In actual time a few hours at the out most. varies on the skills and varies on the make/ model of the vehicle. Some belts need changed at 90,000 miles a timing chain can last up to 200,000. example its recomended to change the timing belt on VW at 85,000 miles and change the timing chain on a MB at 200,000 The could be possible major engine damage to the point of replacing the engine. In that case your bf may be shopping for another car.Should take a day or two, max a week, in a garage if the timing belt broke, there could be major engine damage but two months i dont think so. Unless he tries to do it himself!
