Not canadian, but from buffalo. Water rinse repeat.BAsicall Get the carpet a little damp, then use a scrub brush (not too hard, plastic bristled) to break up the salt, then soak up with paper towels. Repeat a few times, then vacuum with a shop vac.Then use an auto interior cleaner, and then a scotchguard spray and vacuum again in between those steps. Its very important to use a good shop vac because the salt water just goes to the metal floor and rots it from the inside. Good luck
