Ebcm relay circuit is coming up as code.please help me/////?

Question:
i put an alarm in my fairly new truck 2 months old and ever since my brake light and abs light come on at same time i know the alarm guy didnt install it right but it comes on all the time then goes off i scanned it with scanner and is comming up ebcm relay circuit. what does that mean what could be going on and how do i fix it please help me... i have a 01 chevy blazer

Electronic Brake Control Module. There's a relay which fires to release pressure from the brake pads, in the event of your wheels locking when you brake. Apparantly a sensor in that circuit is bad, or the relay is bad. Look it up in your owners manual and see about getting it fixed.
This might or might not be related to your alarm installation, depending on how close the EBCM was to areas where the installer had to be to install the alarm. I would call the alarm installer and ask if he's encountered that from any of his customers in the past, and if so, what's the fix. If they tell you to get lost, you're on your own. Nothing you can really do to hold them responsible for problems with your brakes, when you had them install an alarm.
