does the grade of your tyres effect the ammount of petrol you use? i.e. budget tyres make you use more petrol, i know keeping your tyres pumped up makes it more economical, any other tips?

Budget tyres do not affect the amount of petrol. Proper inflation of them does. A clean air filter and sparkplugs will help too. Getting your injectors cleaned is good for petrol consumption. Keeping fat girls out of your car will help too!

Now tires the more you have it aired up the less it flexes, which means less friction. Also if they come in your size, get Low rolling resistant tires or (tyres) often the stock rubber found on hybrid cars.
