Issues with manual transmission on a Ford ZX2?

Question:
Pretty much if you put it in gear and let the clutch out the car stalls. The car will not roll unless the clutch is pushed in.

At low revs, in heavy traffic, my brake pedal becomes solid as if my brakes are on & dragging?

What is exactly wrong? Is it the Clutch, Flywheel, or Transmission problem? I'm hoping its the flywheel or clutch, cause thats an easy fix.

95 Dodge Dakota won't start. What could it be?

I would definetely say you have a transaxle problem. If you had a bad clutch, when you let it out, nothing would happen, because there would be no engagement of the transaxle.

what octane gas should a 1998 chevy 1500 series truck perform best?

Flywheel unlikely also because it would happen all the time, not just wehn you let the clutch out. It sounds like you unfortunely locked up the transaxle. Time to get it towed somewhere :-(.

Are you giving it gas when you let the clutch out? Most cars don't really roll unless you have the clutch in. That is typical. If you're giving it gas when letting clutch out and it stalls, thats probably a tranny problem. Make sure you're letting out your parking brake.
