top the tank off with deasil fuel if u only put in a lil bit it might hesitate or sputter but i dont think it would hurt a lot are u still at the gas pumps or did iu make it back home
fill the tank up with diesel to dilute the mix and carry on, putting some petrol into a diesel like this was used as a way to start the engines easier in the winter, don't try this the other way round as even a small amount of diesel in a petrol engine would ruin the cat.

I have fixed this problem many times over the years. First, do not crank the engine. Second, have the tank drained, fuel lines flushed, and injector pump and injectors flushed. The damage occurs to a diesel engine when the unleaded fuel damages the injector pump. When you get everything flushed out, then put in new diesel and operate the vehicle paying special attention to any power loss. Power loss indicates that the unleaded fuel has damaged the injection system. I speak from experience on all types of diesel engines. If you find power loss, take the car to a garage and have the injection system inspected and repaired/replaced.Leaking master cylinder gasket.?

The engine will start to get you away from the pumps as their is still pure diesel in the injectors and fuel lines.
If you drive gently in a lower gear than usual gear keeping the engine revving it will run. (dont over do the reving we want an easy life for the engine here)
Drive until you have room in your tank to top up again with diesel. Beware that if the car stalls or the engine cuts out it is very unlikely to start again easily.

The danger with all this is that you damage the fuel injector pump/injectors. The very tight clearances in these are lubricated by the diesel which is more oily than petrol.

A small amount should not be a problem. My daughter filled my diesel car up with petrol from nearly empty, we drained the tank to about one third and filled up with diesel, car ran and apart from a little noise the petrol and diesel was used up.
