i own a repair shop,and its probably just the sending unit on it that's gone bad,,if its running fine,then it has oil pressure ,id replace it first ,,since its the easiest ,and cheapest to repair,,good luck,hope this help,s.,have a good x-mas.

check and see if theres power goin to it. if not replace. if so, oil pressures goin. worthless then. i had a car that ran fine, guage went still ran fine. so of course, if it aint broke dont fix it. sike! every seal in the motor went.
