Question:
What problems would you run into if wanted to swap a 3.1L V6 out of a 1993 Chevy Beretta for a 3800 supercharged V6? I know its been done, but I just wanta know what challenges or problems you would face to get it done. Has anyone done this?

1988 bretta is overheating need help!!?
i own a shop, and i have done one before and that was for my nephew and will never do another one though,we had to change everything on the car, what started out as a simple swap, turned out to be a night mare ,and we finally got it going good now,but he still is having problems with mounts,we had to make one bracket for it,and the Beretta mount we used wont last long in it,other than that all i will say is it runs good, but is too strong for that car,i hope your good with cutting and welding, because there's a little of it to do here, good luck hope this helps.a 3.1 is a 60 degree and a 3800 is a 90 degree V6, i dont know if that matters for the bellhousing on the trans., and im not sure if the stock trans will handle the 3.8sc, you may have to swap that also. good luck with it, sounds like a kick *** project
