If you own a car cover, what brand do you own and what do you use if for mainly... indoor, outdoor? It it practical to use a car cover every day...say, while you're at work? Is it difficult to put on?

If you get dust on the car, and then put the cover on, you can damage the paint.i used a cover with my first car 15 years ago, but i didnt use a lock, and some vandals jacked it up....it did seem to keep the car cleaner longer, but it was a hassle to use....all in all...it doesnt really help that much

I own a car cover, but I only use it when I know I'll be out of town for a week or so. It is not practical to put it on everywhere you go on a daily basis, plus it just makes car thieves more apt to steal your car. If you plan to park it more than you drive it, it's a good investment. You can get a pretty cheap-ee one at Target and use it until you find out how much you'll need it. If you find you need it often, you can get a vehicle specific one from your local dealer.My tools are rusty and dirty! (Screwdriver's, wrenches, etc. How can I get them to look new again?
They are practical and easy to put on and off. I use a boat cover for my convertible because I have found that you get a better quality boat cover for the same amount money that a car cover cost. I dont know why they are higher but I buy my car "boat" cover at WalMart..... Also you get what you pay for.I am so excited for my friend, can I tell you about it?
I had one for about two days, it wasn't worth the effort for an everyday driver. I worked near a quarry and the dust from the semis going past our parking made me get another car. It's a good idea if your storing a car. It will get dirty and get you dirty and also get you trunk dirty when you take it off in bad weather.It is quite difficult to put it on your car when the weather is less then perfect.
Any mechanics out there who could please tell me...?
