I have been told I need new head gaskets in my 92 4Runner.what else should be done? s?
Drill a hole in the lower part of the radiator, and the coolant will come out with no problem. About 1/2-inch should do.can anyone help me with sae to metric conversions?
just disconnect the lower radiator hosehow much would it cost to have a mechanic install an overhaul traniy kit.?
Its on the bottom near the feeding tube for the mice that make the engine turn.I snapped a bolt before 30 foot lbs in my intake manifold on my 350! What can i DO??
look down the side of the radiator,,and you,ll see it,,its either on the side or the very bottom of it,,sometimes its hard to get too but its there they always put it in a hard spot to get too seems like,good luck hope this help,s.Make sure you place a large container under the car to catch the coolant then loosten the clamp on the lower radiator hose and pull the hose off the radiator.
The first thing you do if you want to change it yourself get the repair manual like a Haynes or a Chilton repair manual for that specific car it will walk you through the cooling system and tell you exactly where the drain is for the radiator. I have a 2001 focus I have already done that you need anymore help let me know i can tell you everything that goes wrong with that car.
