Fixing the a/c in my car?

Can anyone give me an estimate for fixing the a/c in my car and probably what's wrong with it? From least expensive/smallest problem to worst case scenario?

Likely- Low on refrigerant- $10-$200. Early '90s had R12 refrigerant, very expensive. If it's '95 or later you can do it yourself for about $20 but I wouldn't recommend it if not experienced, and you are not.
