My service engine light came on on my Honda Accord, I did an electronic scan and the code P1739 popped up. I looked up the code online and it read "Automatic Transaxle Concerns". Could anybody tell me what this means and what needs to be done?

These transmissions have had a lot of mechanical problems. Honda extended the warranty on the transmission to 7 years or 100,000 miles due to problems. Refer to Honda TSB #02-062 for information.

That's the transmission and front wheel drive. There are a number of sensors related to it. It may just be a bad sensor, if the car seems to run and shift properly, but it's really something the dealer service dept. should take a look at... they see these things all the time and can check it and repair it very quickly.How do you check the oil pressure in a truck?

u are burning up your axles take it to nearest authorized mechanic there is some that is worn are empty1999 Sunfire questions . tool sizes?
you should have taken that car to the shop. if you don't no what you are doing DO NOT try to reset the code becauseyou will make things bad and be spending a lot more money.
What year and what size motor. Could be as simple as a fluid change. I run a quick lube and this happens to be the case alot of the time.
