Question:
When I am in stop and go traffic my car does not hold a steady idle. It is as if I am reving the engine, when in fact I am not. Is this an adjustment that I can do myself? (I'm not a mechanic)

sounds like a faulty component or vacuum leak, could be the i.a.c motor, or tps sensor, maybe the m.a.f., could just need a tune up or fuel filter idle hunts are hard to find sometimes, if you dont know alot about the car i would take it to a shop and have them find the problem, then once you know what it is then you can replace the part yourself most likely, go to you're local parts house and buy a Haynes manual it has a trouble shooter section and good pictures of components good luck
