Question:
the timing belt broke on my 93 integra, and it is really expensive to fix. i don't want to go through with the repair, what are other options for it? would the local pick-n-pull scrapyard pay the most for it? or would it be accepted for donation to get a tax deduction? it had aprox 146k miles. sorry for all the questions. any help is appreciated =D
Answers:
Those donate your car charity ads say they always want your car running or not, but when I had an old car that wasn't running, none of them would accept it.
What does" steering angle alignment" mean?
Pick and Pull gave me $5 and towed it away for me.
I have a 94 dodge 3500 and cannot get the front brake rotor off any solutiuons?'?
I had a 93 Cutlass sitting in my side yard for almost a year and checked out the donation stuff and decided to let the scrap guy come and get it. It was needing transmission repair and he gave me 250 for it. I thought that was more than fair. The timing belt should be that much... I checked it is like $100 and under. that is high for a timing belt. but if the car is in good condition I would fix the belt.
