ABS Light on?

Have the coolant level checked, as well as the thermostat in the coolant system. It might not even be there, or is stuck open. You have the signs of an unrestricted, or barely restricted coolant (water) flow, which is warmer weather will be very detrimental to the engine. The thermostat is a disk like device that is usually mounted in the engine block where the hose from the radiator connects to it. It is either missing, stuck open, or the wrong temperature range. Get it fixed. The reason this is detrimental is that the engine is made to operate at a certain temperature. If it doesn't, then there are serious problems that can result from this. The engine could actually over heat because the water passes through the cooling spaces so fast that it doesn't have a chance to absorb any heat, which cools the engine. This can cause the pistons to break, connecting rods to break, cylinder walls to crack, all kinds of nasty stuff can go wrong if the coolant system isn't working as it should.

how to connect a turbo blower from a used car A/C to supercharge the air intake of a diesel engine?

Sounds like the thermostat is stuck open. A new one can be purchased for a few dollars. It is located on the top of your motor where the water hose from the radiator is connected.
